November 02, 2016Not one, but two Rams are nominated for HeroSports.com DIII HERO of the Week as Suffolk women’s soccer’s Jennifer Martin and Kirsten Weiker. The junior and sophomore are coming off Suffolk’s regular-season finale, a 6-2 win at Mass. Maritime, and a thrilling 2-1 upset win over second-seeded Johnson & Wales in the GNAC Tournament. Albertus Magnus’ Header in 2nd OT Ends Women’s Soccer Season in GNAC Semis
November 02, 2016The seventh seeded Suffolk women’s soccer team hung with No. 3 Albertus Magnus for more over 116 minutes of action, taking the Falcons to two extra sessions, but the Rams could not hold off the hosts forever as Taylor Rotella sunk a header with just under four minutes to play before a shootout to take the GNAC semifinal away from Suffolk, 1-0, Wednesday night at Celentano Field. -
