BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer looks to stretch its winning streak to four Saturday, Oct. 15 when the Rams entertain Mount Ida at the second annual #RamsFanFest celebration. The contest is set to begin following the men's game against Anna Maria at 3:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Madelyn Whipple scored her first collegiate goal at just the first time, with just 1:10 minutes remaining at Curry to be exact, to lift the Rams over the Colonels, 1-0, at Walter M. Katz Field Oct. 12.

#RAMSFANFEST
For the second straight year, Suffolk Athletics invites all members of Ram Nation to East Boston Memorial Park for a double feature soccer contest and #RamsFanFest Saturday, Oct. 15.
Prior to kickoff, Suffolk will honor the playing career of its graduating senior, Shannon Simmons. She has been instrumental in the team's growth over the past three seasons culminating in a GNAC Quarterfinals appearanced.
For the fifth time in 2016, the Suffolk men's and women's soccer teams will be playing in a double header. The men's squad gets Saturday's showdowns started as the Rams take on Anna Maria at 1 p.m., followed by the women's Senior Day contest against Mount Ida at 3:30 p.m. The men are 2-2 when playing in a Suffolk double feature, while the women's squad is 3-1 in a doubleheader.
RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
With a 7-7 overall mark Suffolk has notched the third most victories in program history and most since 2013's seven wins. The Rams are currently in seventh-place in the GNAC standings with a 4-4 league ledger.
Kirsten Weiker has stood tall between the pipes for Suffolk with a 5-4 record with three shutouts. The sophomore keeper has turned away 74 attempts and allowed 20 goals. Julia Fieldsend and Jordan Pettograsso have also seen action in net for the Rams. Fieldsend is 0-2 with 21 stops, while Pettograsso sits at 1-1 with six saves to her credit.
MUSTANGS MUST KNOWS
Mount Ida has lost five straight including two at home to dip to 3-10-0 overall and 1-7 in conference action.
Mikayla Lovering and Lacey Perry lead Mount Ida in scoring with two goals apiece with Lovering notching a team-best five points, while Perry has four points to her credit.
Goalkeeper Annamarie Seiler has started nine games in net for the Mustangs and is 2-6-0 on the year with one shutout. The freshman boasts a 2.59 goals-against average and 80 saves for a .784 save percentage.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Suffolk leads the all-time series with the Mustangs, 6-2-1, and picked up a 3-2 win at Mount Ida last season in the Rams' season finale.
EYES ON THE GAME
HATS OFF
Alexandra Nagri notched her second collegiate hat trick at Norwich Oct. 8. She is the second Ram to net three goals in one outing this season as Jennifer Martin put away four at Wheelock Sept. 7.
SHUTOUT
Five of the Rams' victories this season are shutouts. The five cleansheets in one year are the most since matching that number in 2012.
SCORING FRENZY
In the 9-0 victory Wednesday night at Wheelock, Suffolk poured in the most goals (9) since scoring 12 in a 12-0 shutout win over Anna Maria Oct. 24, 2012. The nine tallies are the fourth most goals all-time in the program's 10-year history, with the Rams' tallying nine goals on two other occasions, both 9-0 wins – Oct. 14, 2009 vs. Mass. Maritime and Oct. 13, 2010 vs. Newbury.
MAGINIFICENT MARTIN
Jennifer Martin, who is the first Ram with a multi-goal game since Alexandra Nagri netted two in the season finale last season at Mount Ida, racked up four tallies in the 9-0 triumph at Wheelock Wednesday. Her offensive outpour, she ties the fourth-most goals in a single-game by a Ram and is the most goals by a Ram since Leslie Hayden and Lauren Cameron netted five and four, respectively at Anna Maria Oct. 10, 2011. The junior is also the first Ram to net a hat trick since Nagri did so in a 4-3 win at St. Joseph (Conn.) Sept. 19, 2015.
