BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team overcame a two-goal, first half deficit and then some Tuesday night as the Rams poured in six second stanza goals to take down the Buccaneers, 6-2, at Clean Harbor Stadium in their regular season finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jennifer Martin and Alexandra Nagri each netted a pair of goals apiece and assisted on another to lead Suffolk past a two-goal halftime deficit and to the Rams' 10th victory of the season. 

GOALS GALORE

  •  Martin sliced the Rams 2-0 halftime deficit in half on a Nagri feed just 6:56 after intermission. 
  • Suffolk took the lead for good on markers from junior Paola Ortez and sophomore Madelyn Whipple in a 1:02 span just over 20 minutes later. 
  • Nagri added her two tallies to sandwich Martin's second goal of the night in the final 8:28 of action to cap the visitors' six goal second half outburst. The junior duo's last two markers came in a 36 second span to account for the final margin. 

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

  • Kirsten Weiker picked up her seventh win of the season with an eight save effort in goal for the Rams. 
  • Sara Coffey made 10 stops in net in the setback for Mass. Maritime. 

NOTEABLES

  • Suffolk finished its regular season with the third most victories in program-history with a 10-9-0 overall record. The ledger marks the best since going 11-8-1 in 2011. 
  • The Rams remained unbeaten all-time against Mass. Maritime with their third win over the Buccaneers since the series began in 2009. 
  • Suffolk's six second-half goals are the most scores over a half for the Rams since the blue and gold netted seven in the second stanza in a 12-0 win over Anna Maria Oct. 24, 2012. 
  • Nagri's season goal total of 19 is just three shy of tying Suffolk's single season record of 22 set by Leslie Hayden. 
  • Whipple put in her second tally of the season with each of the sophomore's goals lifting the Rams' to victory as game-winners.
