
BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team pushed its win streak to five straight with a 7-1 victory over Pine Manor Monday night at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk used a 3-0 first half lead and mirrored that in the second stanza and added one more en route to its fifth straight win.
GOALS
- Alexandra Nagri broke open the sobering in the 16th minute. From the left, Melissa Adamo crossed into the box where Erika Nelson drew out Charley Lutz and made a sliding pass to Nagri, who easily slide the rock past Lutz. The junior's 15th goal of the season put Suffolk in front 1-0.
- Nagri made it a 2-0 Suffolk game just about three minutes later. Jessica Harmon found Nagri right in front and the Salem, New Hampshire, local put her 16th tally of the season away.
- Harmon added a goal of her own on the scoresheet 1:07 later. Erika Nelson sent at through ball from the midfield up to Harmon, who beat the defender and scored to stretch Suffolk's lead to three, 3-0.
- Jennifer Martin used a cross feed from Nagri to stretch the Rams' lead to four goals just 1:36 into the second stanza.
- Harmon set up Martin's 13th goal of the season with a floating feed to the center of the box. Martin's goal gave Suffolk a 5-0 cushion.
- Nagri completed her hat trick two minutes after Martin's tally. The forward beat the defender and scored into the left corner, marking her 17th goal of the season.
- Off a corner in the 72nd minute, Paola Vangjeli picked up a feed from Nelson to make it a 7-0 Rams game. The score was the first of the sophomore's career.
- Pine Manor ruined Suffolk's seventh cleansheet of the season with a late goal. Elizabeth Anderson put her fifth goal of the season away on a one-on-one opportunity at 82:25.
KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS
- A trio of netminders saw action for the Rams with Kirsten Weiker earning her 12th straight of the season. The sophomore goalie earned the victory with 30 minutes of action.
- Jordan Pettograsso came in on relief. The freshman keeper made two saves in 29:06 minutes of play. Pettograsso returned to finish the game following an injury. She finished the night with three stops and one goal against.
- Julia Fieldsend also saw action in between the pipes for Suffolk, before being replaced by Pettograsso after an injury.
- Charley Lutz started her fourth game in between the posts for the Gators. She faced 14 shots shots, allowing seven goals and stopping seven to slip to 4-4 on the season.
NOTEABLES
- The win marks Suffolk's fifth straight, the longest win streak for the Rams since stringing nine victories together from Sept. 28 - Oct. 26, 2010.
- Suffolk remained undefeated against Pine Manor all-time and improved to 6-0 against the Gators.
- The Rams wrapped up their home slate, 6-2, the best percentage at home since a 6-2-1 ledger on the friendly confines of Suffolk's turf in 2011.
- Suffolk secured six home wins, which is a program best, for the third time in program history, also matching that number in 2010 and 2011.
- The seven goals are the second-most for Suffolk this season with the Rams' season best of nine coming at Wheelock Sept. 7.
- Nagri is the first Ram to net two hat tricks in one season Leslie Hayden netted three in 2011.
