BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team concludes its 2016 regular season slate with non-conference action at Mass. Maritime Tuesday, Oct. 25. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's soccer team was tripped up in its GNAC regular season finale as the Raiders of Rivier shutout the Rams, 2-0, at Raider Field Saturday afternoon.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk's record moved to .500, 9-9, after a 2-0 setback at Rivier Saturday. The Rams' are 4-3 against out of league foes and 3-7 on the road this season.    

Alexandra Nagri has been the main ingredient in Suffolk's success this season. The junior's offensive spark of 17 goals and 38 points not only lead the squad, but the conference. Her classmate counterpart, Jennifer Martin, is also among the conference best, scoring 13 goals and notching 27 points, which both rank fourth in the league. When it comes to handouts Erika Nelson proves to be the most successful Ram with a team-best sixth, which is tied for second in the conference.

Kirsten Weiker is 7-6-0 between the pipes with four shutouts. The sophomore keeper has 92 saves and a 2.32 goals-against average. 

BIT 'BOUT THE BUCCANEERS
Mass. Maritime dropped a 2-0 decision to Framingham State to slip to 5-8-1 on the season.   

Stephanie Hunt leads the buccaneers in scoring with 10 goals and 21 points. Madison Taylor and Aoife Callinan have each chipped in 18 points with Taylor's coming off seven scores and four handouts, while Callinan has six goals and six assists.   

Goalkeeper Sara Coffey has played the majority of time in between the pipes for Mass. Maritime. She boasts a .786 save percentage and an 1.89 goals-against average. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
Suffolk and Mass. Maritime renew a rivalry, which began in 2009. The Rams own both victories over the Buccaneers, both shutouts, 9-0 (2009) and 5-0 (2010).                       

EYES ON THE GAME

POST-SEASON PUSH
Suffolk will be making its six appearance and first since 2014 in the GNAC post season tournament. The Rams, who are seeded seventh, will make the trip to second-seeded Johnson & Wales Sunday, Oct. 30 for a 5 p.m. contest. In the conference quarterfinals, Suffolk is 2-3 with one win coming off a shootout.

STREAKING
Suffolk strung together its fifth straight win Oct. 17, marking the longest streak for the Rams since stringing nine victories together from Sept. 28 – Oct. 6, 2010. 

HATS OFF, AGAIN
Alexandra Nagri notched her third collegiate hat trick against Pine Manor Oct. 17 and second of the season. She is the first Ram to net three goals in two outings over one year since Leslie Hayden netted three hat tricks in 2011. 

Nagri and Jennifer Martin have each accomplished the three-goal game feat this season. 

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
The Rams wrapped up their home slate, 6-2, the best percentage at home since a 6-2-1 ledger on the friendly confines of Suffolk's turf in 2011. The six victories tie a program best and were achieved by the Rams for the third time in the program's 10-year history.  

SCORING FRENZY
In the 9-0 victory Wednesday night at Wheelock, Suffolk poured in the most goals (9) since scoring 12 in a 12-0 shutout win over Anna Maria Oct. 24, 2012. The nine tallies are the fourth most goals all-time in the program's 10-year history, with the Rams' tallying nine goals on two other occasions, both 9-0 wins – Oct. 14, 2009 vs. Mass. Maritime and Oct. 13, 2010 vs. Newbury.

MAGINIFICENT MARTIN
Jennifer Martin, who is the first Ram with a multi-goal game since Alexandra Nagri netted two in the season finale last season at Mount Ida, racked up four tallies in the 9-0 triumph at Wheelock Wednesday. Her offensive outpour, she ties the fourth-most goals in a single-game by a Ram and is the most goals by a Ram since Leslie Hayden and Lauren Cameron netted five and four, respectively at Anna Maria Oct. 10, 2011. The junior is also the first Ram to net a hat trick since Nagri did so in a 4-3 win at St. Joseph (Conn.) Sept. 19, 2015.

COMING UP
Suffolk's quest for GNAC glory begins Sunday, Oct. 30 as the seventh-seeded Rams head to second-seed Albertus Magnus. The win and advance contest is scheduled for 5 p.m.
