  • Cross Country Hosts Suffolk Invitation, Battle for Boston Common Saturday

    Suffolk cross country takes on hosting responsibilities for the second straight season with the Suffolk Invitational scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 19 at Franklin Park. The outing will not only serve as final prep for the upcoming 2019 GNAC Championships, but will also pit the Rams against their Beantown foes Emerson in the Battle for Boston Commons. The Alli Curran women’s 5K begins the event at 2:30 p.m., with the Boston Air Men’s 8K wrapping things up an hour later.

    Suffolk Athletics will hold its first annual Support Ram Nation Day, Friday, Oct. 25. The 24-hour day of giving is an online/mobile fundraiser support Suffolk Athletics and its 19 varsity support teams.
  • Men’s Cross Country Sweep GNAC Accolades for Third Time

    Each week Suffolk men’s cross country has competed in 2019 the Rams have been rewarded with conference honors and this Monday was no different as the blue-and-gold swept the GNAC Weekly Awards once again with Matyas Csiki-Fejer garnering runner of the week status and ElijahDillon taking home rookie of the week the for their performances at the Keene State Invitational, league office announced yesterday.

  • Csiki-Fejer Wins Keene State Invitational, Men’s Cross Country Takes Ninth

    Matyas Csiki-Fejer topped a near 200-runner field Saturday morning in upstate New Hampshire to capture the individual Keene State Invitational crown and help Suffolk men’s cross country finish ninth overall.

    Each week the Rams raced this year they have swept the GNAC weekly awards and once again Suffolk men’s cross country did just that as Matyas Csiki-Fejer was tabbed GNAC Runner of the Week and Guilaume Glaudel was named the best rookie, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

    After two weeks rest, the Suffolk cross country teams readies for the 47th UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday, Sept. 21. The Rams converge on Dartmouth, Massachusetts, with the men’s five-mile run set for an 11:15 a.m. start and the women’s 5k wrapping things up at 12 p.m.

    Suffolk’s cross country programs captured all four GNAC weekly awards for the first seven-day stretch of 2019, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Emily Manfra and Matyas Csiki-Fejer were each tabbed GNAC Runners of the Week for their respective genders, while Marin Stamer and Cole Bolduc took home GNAC Rookie of the Week status.
