  • 54 Rams Earn Academic All-GNAC Status

    The GNAC has announced the names of 865 student-athletes – including 54 from Suffolk – who have been named to the 2015-16 Academic All-GNAC Team. The 54 Rams represent the second most all-time for the blue-and-gold and is just two individuals shy of the record (56) since the inaugural team in 2008.

  • 144 Earn Spring 2016 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll

    A total of 144 Suffolk University student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the 2016 Spring Quarter. To make the Director’s Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.

  • 146 Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for Fall 2015 Semester

    The Suffolk University Athletics Department is proud to announce the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll of the 2015 Fall Semester. 206 student-athletes were enrolled in full-time classes this fall and 146 achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Overall, the department maintained a 3.19 GPA average on the semester between its 13 varsity intercollegiate teams.
  • Daniels Highlights Pair of Men’s Soccer All-GNAC Honorees

    Two members of the 2015 Suffolk men’s soccer team have received All-GNAC honors, the conference office announced Monday. Ben Daniels represented the Rams on the All-GNAC third team, while his Alex Ypsilantis was named to the league’s All-Sportsmanship Team.

    The Suffolk men’s soccer team had its 2015 season come to a close Sunday afternoon with a tough loss to Johnson & Wales in the Quarterfinals of the GNAC Tournament. The eighth-seeded Rams were blanked by the regular season champions and top-seed Johnson & Wales, 9-0, at the Scotts MG Complex.

    The Suffolk men’s soccer team will travel to Providence, Rhode Island this weekend to compete in the 2015 GNAC Championships. The No. 8 seed Rams will take on the top seed and regular season champions Johnson & Wales Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Scotts Athletic Complex on the Wildcats’ campus.

    The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Matt Vidal sent in a free kick from 20 fee out in the 81st minute to break a 1-1 tie and lift the Corsairs over Suffolk, 2-1, Tuesday evening at Cressy Field.
