BOSTON – The Suffolk women's hockey team caps off a three-game homestand Friday, Jan. 25 at 5:45 p.m. versus UMass Boston, before taking its talents on to New England College the next day, Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's hockey team scored four unanswered goals to take down Salem State, 4-2, Saturday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
After a four-point weekend, Suffolk remains in second place in the league standings with 15 points on a 7-2-1 conference record. Overall, the Rams, who have strung together back-to-back victories, are 12-6-1.
Suffolk sports the second-best offense in the league with 2.95 goals per game anchored by Tess Adams' 1.21 ppg. The senior forward is the second-best scorer in the league with 11 goals to her credit to go along with 12 assists. She is lone student-athlete with 20-plus points and is one of six skaters with double digit points for the Rams. Shana Cote (8g, 11a), Jesse Kennedy (7g, 7a), Madison Duff (1g, 11a) and Haley Poloskey (8g, 4a) have also eclipse the double figure point plateau.
In net, Kristen Caporusso has backstopped Suffolk to all 12 of its victories. The sophomore netminder enters the weekend with a .932 save percentage and a 1.67 GAA.
BEACONS BREAKDOWN
UMass Boston split its conference action last weekend with a 4-0 shutout at NEC followed by a 2-1 setback to Johnson & Wales to move to 7-10-2 on the season and 4-5-2 in conference competition.
A trio of players is the main force to Boston's offense in Katie Leffler (8g, 6a), Jane Morrisette (6g, 6a) and Edy Mortiz (7g, 4a).
In net, Alyssa DePippo has taken on the bulk of the work and has put together a .915 save percentage and a 1.79 GAA through 13 games and 12 starts. Caty Flagg, meanwhile has six starts to her credit and holds a .936 save percentage and a 1.96 GAA.
WE MEET AGAIN
Trailing 2-0, the Suffolk women's hockey team sprung back with two unanswered goals to force overtime with UMass Boston Nov. 17 at Edward T. Barry Arena. Neither of the New England Hockey Conference foes could lit the lamp in the extra session and the conference clash ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

- Suffolk and UMass Boston will meet for the second time overall.
- The Rams look for their first-ever win over the Beacons as the first meeting, which came Nov. 17, 2018, ended in a 2-2 draw.
PILGRIMS POINTS
NEC has fallen in five straight games to dip to 2-15-1 overall and 2-7-1 in conference competition.
The Pilgrims' 38-goal offense has seen a quartet of players pot the puck twice in Vicki Shaw, Cortney Reyes, Tara Turcotte and Erica Lissner. Shaw leads the way in points with seven to her credit behind a team-high five helpers.

POLOSKEY PICKS UP NEHC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
After scoring a pair of goals in back-to-back league games, Haley Poloskey of the Suffolk women's hockey team garnered NEHC Rookie of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday.
