GNAC on the Line for Men’s Golf this Weekend


BOSTON – Golfers across the GNAC will take the course at the Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, Massachusetts, this weekend as the Suffolk men's golf team and its conference counterparts converge in hopes to capture the conference crown. The two-day championship event will be hosted by Worcester State and will tee-off at Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Over the weekend the Suffolk men's golf team finished in the middle of the pack at the Blazers Invitational hosted by Elms at the Hickory Ridge Country Club.

THE COURSE
Blackstone National Golf Club is a public 18 hole, par 72 course designed by Rees Jones. The design utilizes the natural contours of the New England countryside to create a mix of different holes with undulating fairways and greens winding its way through tree lined fairways and various water hazards.

POLL POSITION
On the cusps of the 2018 GNAC Tournament, the conference office released the predictions of the nine head coaches for the 2018 GNAC Men's Golf Championship with the men's golf team being picked seventh.

RAPID REWIND
Last season, Suffolk men's golf put together its best showing at the GNAC Championships since 2014 with a sixth-place finish thanks to shooting 640 at the Valley Country Club.
