Out of a tied game at half, Suffolk men's basketball used a decisive 57-29 second stanza to storm by the University of New England, 92-64, in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Tuesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk men's basketball rides a three-game win streak into Saturday's showdown that put the Rams at 12-6 on the year and 8-3 in CNE contests.  

The Rams starting five have picked up as of late all scoring in double figures in the last two games. Keenan Robertson has been a force all season leading the way offensively and defensively with 20.1 ppg and 8.2 rpg. Danny Yardemian has supplied 11.8 ppg and 4.2 apg to the 74.1 ppg offense with 4.7 rpg to the 37.2 rpg effort. Nick Verdile has been a threat from behind-the-arc and had supplied 10.0 ppg. Jake Gomez (8.5 ppg, 6.7 rpg) and Cole LeVangie (8.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg) round out the core five for the blue-and-gold. 

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams has rattled off four wins in a row to sit 13-5 on the season and 8-3 in CNE play.  

The trio of Mac Annus (20.8 ppg), Finn Miller (11.8 ppg) and Ty Higgins (11.1 ppg) provide double figures to the Hawks' 84.0 ppg offense. Nate Lopes is on the verge of double digits as well with 9.4 ppg to his credit.  

Defensively, Miller grabs 6.3 rpg to lead the way on the glass. Annus adds 4.3 rpg to RWU's 32.6 rpg effort. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk men's basketball suffered its first Conference of New England (CNE) loss of the season as Roger Williams knocked down the Rams, 83-59, Saturday, Jan. 4 at the Hawks' Campus Rec Center.
