BOSTON – With the fall regular-season coming to a close, Suffolk Athletics had standout performances from a trio of Rams and let Ram Nation choose the Ram of the Week via a Twitter Poll.
AND THE WINNER IS …
With 57 percent of the 28 votes cast, Nigel Leo of the Suffolk men's soccer team took home the weekly honor determined by Ram Nation in a day-long Twitter Poll. The accolade comes on the heels of a seven-point week in which the graduate student helped the blue-and-gold go 1-1-0 against its pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponents.

Leo is the second member of Suffolk men's soccer to take home the Ram of the Week distinction following behind Brady Sorensen's selection Oct. 4, 2021.
In a 5-3 win at the University of New England Tuesday, Oct. 12, the midfielder produced five points on two goals and one assist. Four days later at Endicott, Leo found the back of the net again to account for Suffolk's lone goal against the Gulls.
Leo is now on a three-game point streak. In that span he has nine points on four goals and one helper. He looks to keep that going this week as the Rams are back in the friendly confines of East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium Wednesday, Oct. 20 when they entertain Wentworth. Kick-off in Eastie is set for 7 p.m.
