BOSTON – The GNAC Cross Country Championship Crowns are up for grabs Saturday, Oct. 29 as Suffolk and its conference counterparts take the course at Franklin Park. The women's 5k heat is set for a 1 p.m. start with the men scheduled for a 2 p.m. 8k. Emmanuel, Lasell and Simmons are sharing hosting responsibilities of the championship.

LAST TIME OUT – WOMEN'S
Emily Manfra and Emma Weisse finished in the top five to lead the Suffolk women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the Saints Invitational hosted by Emmanuel at Franklin Park Oct. 14.

LAST TIME OUT – MEN'S
For the second straight meet, David Campisano paced the Suffolk men's cross country team, leading the Rams to a 17th-plave finish at the Saints Invitational at Franklin Park hosted by Emmanuel Oct. 14.

FAMILIAR FRANKLIN
Suffolk's squads will take the course at Franklin Park for the third time this season as the Rams competed on the championship course in its previous two outings, the Codfish Bowl and the Saints Invitational. 

On the women's side, Emily Manfra and Emma Weisse posted their best times on the championship course, both sub-20. Manfra crossed the tap in 19:57 at the Saints Invitational, while Weiss finished the Codfish Bowl in 19:59. 

At the Saints Invitational, Dave Campisano and Paulo Guedes both notched sub-30 times as the former finished in 29:20, while the latter crossed the tape in 29:42. 

POLL POSITION
As the Suffolk cross country men's and women's teams prep for the 2016 GNAC Championships this weekend, the conference has released the championship coaches' poll Thursday afternoon. The Rams' men's squad has been picked to finish sixth, while the women's team was selected seventh.

The Suffolk cross country teams competed at the GNAC Championships held at Saint Joseph's (Maine) Oct. 31, 2015 afternoon with the Rams' men finishing sixth and the women taking eight.
