BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball caps off the 2024 regular-season Saturday, Nov. 9 when Endicott stops by Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. Prior to the 11 a.m. matinee, the Rams will recognize and honor the playing careers of their graduating players Isabelle Huzar, Tatum Kalt, Morgan Kelsey, McKenna Keowen, Jayla Martinez, and Sophie Palmer.

Suffolk volleyball capped off its regular-season road schedule in sweeping fashion as it defeated Curry, 3-0, in Conference of New England action Wednesday night at Katz Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk handled Curry in its road regular-season finale Wednesday night to move to 23-5 on the year and 5-3 in Conference of New England (CNE) contests.  

McKenna Keowen holds team-leading numbers in kills per set (3.23) and aces per set (0.66). Sami Shore supplies 2.46 kps to the attack that is set up by Jayla Martinez (5.82 assists per set) and Aislinn Lanigan (3.55 assists per set). 

Defensively, Morgan Kelsey leads the way with 4.10 digs per set (dps). Keowen adds 3.37 kps and Shore leads the way at the net with 0.70 blocks per set (bps).

Endicott has coupled back-to-back wins together, a sweep at Curry and a 3-2 thriller at Gordon, to remain unbeaten in CNE matches (8-0) and improve to 19-6 on the season.  

Haldey Helenbrook is one of the biggest threats in the region attack wise with 5.05 kps. Ava Grace Dresback averages over 2.00 kps as well with 2.85 kps. Hannah Maguire is the primary setter for the Gulls attack with 9.78 assists per set.  

Endicott has an entire defensive unit. Emma Ruel tops the team with 3.32 dps. Maguire chips in 2.73 dps, Helenbrook pitches in 2.53 dps and Stephanie Moreau provides 0.65 bps. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk has yet to take down Endicott, 0-7. 
• The Rams and Gulls played to a five-set decision a year ago, Oct. 28, 2023. That is the first and only 3-2 decision in the all-time series.
• There are three four-set matches. 
• The first four matches in the all-time meeting were sweeps (0-4).
• Suffolk and Endicott will play in Boston for the second time, first since Sept. 24, 2022.
