BOSTON – Coming off a 2-1 week, the Suffolk volleyball team heads to Providence Tuesday to wrap up GNAC action at Johnson & Wales. First serve between the Rams and the Wildcats is scheduled for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's volleyball team split its hem series finale in Senior Day action at Regan Gymnasium Saturday as the Rams dropped straight sets to Emmanuel, before rebounding with a sweep of Albertus Magnus.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk enters its final week of action coming off a 2-1 week that pushed the Rams record to 7-19 overall and 3-7 in the GNAC.
Continuing to be a force offensively for the Rams is freshman Chidera Nwankwo who contributes 1.81 kps. Her classmate Bridet Allsion, meanwhile, chips in 1.74 kps. Talia Lombardo (1.53 kps) and Jane Buckley (1.34 kps) also add over 1.00 kps to Suffolk's offense. Liz Kerek has commanded the offense as the Rams setter with 4.21 aps.
Defensively, Suffolk receives 3.08 dps from Lombardo with Emma Feeny (2.74 dps) and Heidy Barreiro (dps) contributing to the effort.
WILDCAT WAYS
Johnson & wales enters play this week in second play in the GNAC standings with a 7-1 league record and 17-7 overall mark.
Emily Kalmink (2.95 kps) and Nastasia Kapustin (2.78 kps) produce over 2.00 for the Wildcats' offense with Kellen Tensen handling the setting responsibilities (8.95 aps). JWU's defense received 3.57 dps from Julianna Zaharias and 0.87 bps from Kalmink.

SERVING UP ACES
Suffolk scored 19 aces in a straight set victory over Massachusetts Maritime, marking the most aces for a Rams' squad since 2011. Freshman Talia Lombardo tallied eight aces in the victory, the most for a Ram since Melissa Griffin '12 served that number in a 3-1 victory over Eastern Nazarene September 22, 2011.
