RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk won back-to-back matches and three of its last four to move to 4-7 on the season. The Rams have split GNAC play, falling 5-4 to Simmons, before sweeping Albertus Magnus to take a 1-1 league ledger into Wednesday night.

Three-time GNAC Corvias Player of the Week, Valentina Medina has continued to power the Rams forward on both courts. In singles, she is 26-1 in singles matches throughout her two-year collegiate career and is perfect in dual competition, 26-0, exclusively at the first and second courts. This season, Medina holds an 11-1 mark – 5-0 at No. 1 and 6-0 at No. 2 – with her lone loss coming in the ITA New England Regionals.

In doubles, the junior has had three different partners and boasts an 11-2 record. In dual action, she and her Ram teammates are 10-1 in dual play all as Suffolk's top tandem.

A BIT ABOUT THE AMCATS
Anna Maria has yet to mark a tally in the win column as the AMCATS are 0-7 on the season and 0-3 in conference competition.

Jessica Gautieri has played predominately as Anna Maria's No. 1 in singles and has been a part of the AMCATS top tandem, which also features Johanna Dean. On both courts, Gautieri owns a 3-4 ledger.

WHAT'S NEXT?
After a quick stint on the road, Suffolk heads back to the friendly confines of Buckingham, Browne & Nichols Saturday, Oct. 8 for a 3 p.m. match against Johnson & Wales.
