
PAXTON, Mass. – The Suffolk women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive win Wednesday night as the Rams downed Anna Maria, 8-1, at the Paxton Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk quickly cruised to a 3-0 lead thanks to sweeping doubles play and was nearly following suit in singles, but an injury led to a default in the second spot for the final 8-1 tally.
SUFFOLK STANDOUTS
- Isabel Rathlev and Jacquelyn Nakamura partnered up for the first time this season and put Suffolk on the board with a golden match over Casey Lacasse and Sophia Wackell on the third doubles court.
- Another first time duo, Eugenia Skorobogatov and Christina Texidor notched a golden match of their own, taking down Laura Cabral and Marrissa Leonard, in the second slot to give Suffolk a 2-0 cushion.
- Aidiana Sagyndykova and Elena Cisneros Garcia secured the doubles sweep with an 8-4 win against Jessica Gautieri and Johanna Dean as the Rams' top tandem.
- Nakamura's single court finished first as the junior defeated Wackell in a golden match in the sixth spot.
- Danlyn Medou notched a 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Lacasse in the fifth position to clinch the Rams' third straight win.
- Rathlev downed Leonard, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 4.
- Sagyndykova secured a 7-5, 6-0, win on court one against Gautieri.
- Cisneros Garcia rounded out the Rams' point earners as she bested Cabral, 6-2, 6-4, in the third position.
