RUN DOWN THE RAMS
Suffolk has been solid this year with a 5-3 overall record and 1-1 mark heading into action this week.

Valentine Medina is the hottest player in the Rams' lineup, having gong 8-0 this season in singles and doubles play. The sophomore has been on the first and second singles court. In doubles action, Medina has teamed up with Aidiana Sagyndykova at No. 1 and Abby Trigilio at No. 2. Sagyndykova has also shined for Suffolk in singles as the junior is also 8-0.

PROWL ON THE PRIDE
Springfield returns home following a 5-4 defeat at Smith Tuesday night, which dropped the Pride to 2-4 on the year.

In singles play Ariana Shemms sports the best record for the Pride with an undefeated 2-0 mark at the lower half of the line-up, while Rachel London is Springfield's ace and is 1-4 overall. Two pairs have switched off on the first and second doubles court in Stephanie Foster and London and Rachel Litchfield and Melissa Parrish. Both tandems sit at 2-3 on the season.

MUST KNOW 'BOUT THE MUSTANGS
Mount Ida has had a week to prepare for the Rams after taking down Anna Maria, 6-3, in its conference opener last Saturday. After dropping the first two matches of 2015, the Mustangs have sandwiched a defeat around two victories to sit a 2-3 overall.

Rebecca Levy has been the staples of Mount Ida this season as the sophomore was voted the GNAC Corvias Player of the Week, becoming the first Mustang in program history to receive the award. Levy led Mount Ida with a 4-0 week – two wins at singles and doubles, respectively - last week and sits at 4-1 in singles and doubles play.

ROOKIE RECOGNITION
Valentine Medina was named GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week, marking the third time this season she has earned the award and second time in as many weeks.

Medina became the first Suffolk player to be named the best rookie over of a seven-day stretch twice by the conference September 21 and adds to her decorated rookie season with the third nod of the year.
