RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
For the second time this season Suffolk put together back-to-back victories to improve its record to 4-2 overall and 1-0 against GNAC competition.

Suffolk's 20-16 singles record has been paced by two undefeated Rams, Aidiana Sagyndykova and Valentina Medina, who compete at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions and boasts 6-0 records.

On the doubles court, the Rams are 12-6 headlined by teams featuring Medina. The sophomore is 3-0 with Sagyndykova in the first slot and 3-0 with Abby Trigilio in the second spot.

LIT BIT 'BOUT THE LEOPARDS
Wentworth has dropped two straight matches to slip to 2-6 overall. The Leopards were swept by Roger Williams before falling at Gordon, 8-1. Kelsey DeGouveia picked up the only triumph for Wentworth in the last two matches as she took home a 7-6(7-5), 6-2, victory on the sixth singles court against the Fighting Scots.

DeGouveia is the only Leopard to boast a .500 record in singles play, as the freshman is 2-2 all in the sixth spot. Caitlyn Briggs has held down the top position for Wentworth and is 1-7 overall. On the doubles court it is DeGouveia's team with Nicole Mooney leading the way as the pair sits at 3-5 on the season all on court three.

ROOKIE RECOGNITION
Valentine Medina picked up her second GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week nod of the season Monday, Sept. 21, thanks to a 6-0 performance in a three-match week for Suffolk. With the honor Medina becomes the first Ram in the history of the women's tennis program to be named the best rookie over a seven day stretch twice in one season.
