Suffolk women's lacrosse suffered its first Conference of New England (CNE) setback of the season as Western New England took down the Rams, 18-8, Tuesday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk suffered its first CNE setback of the year at WNE, 18-8, Tuesday to move to 6-5 on the year and 2-1 in CNE action.
Ally Colburn (51g, 12a), Julia Dickinson (30g, 19a) and Zoe Peckham (19g, 14a) continue to power the Rams' 147-goal offense. Every member of the trio has produced at least one point in every game for Suffolk this season. Lauren Woods, who has 12 goals and five helpers to her credit, has a team-best 31 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers with 40 draw controls as well. Kate Carlson has recorded a team-best 46 draw controls and Eliza Bryant has caused 16 turnovers.
Charlotte Guziejka has played every minute in net for the blue-and-gold. She holds a 12.03 GAA and 44.4 save percentage.
HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams has won three games in a row to sit 5-5 on the year and 3-0 in CNE play.
The Hawks have outscored their opponents 63-16 in the last three games. Emma Terino has paced RWU's attack with 26 goals and 11 assists. Allie Shamberger (17g, 15a) has produced 30-plus points, while Mia Pantano (24g), Ella Waryas (15g, 7a), Kimmy Creegan (13g, 9a) and Miranda Hayes (10g, 11a) have all surpassed the 20-point line.
Zoey Cormican has played and started 10 games. She brings in a 11.99 GAA and 45.7 save percentage. Aizza Chase holds an 8.45 GAA and 46.2 save percentage in four games played.
SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams put their hosting hats back on Wednesday, April 9 when the University of New England stops by East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. draw.
