
BRISTOL, R.I. – Suffolk women's lacrosse dropped a road Conference of New England (CNE) contest at Roger Williams, 26-9, Friday night at Bayside Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk fell behind 7-1 in the first 7:07 of play. The Rams closed out the first frame on a 5-2 stretch to trim the gap to three, 9-6, at the end of the opening quarter. Ally Colburn was responsible for three goals in that stretch, while Lauren Woods and Julia Dickinson pitched in one each.
The Hawks handled the second stanza as they outscored the blue-and-gold 8-1 to send Suffolk into the break down double figures, 17-7.
Suffolk's offense was limited throughout the second half, which allowed Roger Williams to roll to the 26-9 decision.

- Charlotte Guziejka had five saves in the setback.
- Zoey Cormican logged four stops in the victory.
