
BOSTON – Suffolk women's golf and its Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) counterparts are set to meet in Wilton, New York, this weekend for two one-day events at the McGregor Links Country Club. Saturday, Oct. 1 will serve as the NWGC Fall Classic with Sunday, Oct. 2's action dubbed the NWGC Invitational. Shotgun starts on each day of competition are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's golf saw its season-opening win streak come to an end as the Rams were outshot by Wellesley, Sunday after the Nehoden Golf Club. The Blue beat the blue-and-gold, 333-391.

THE COMPETITION
Along with the Rams, 10 members of the NWGC will tangle in the Empire State in SUNY Cobeskill, SUNY Canton, Husson, Keene State, Keuka, Mount Saint Mary, Nazareth, St. John Fisher and Westfield State.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Suffolk will defend its NEIGA Crown next weekend, Oct. 15-16, at the 2023 NEIGA Championship at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.
