BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball will cap off its abbreviated 2020-21 campaign this week with a home-and-home series against Gordon. The Rams hit the road Wednesday, March 24 for a 7 p.m. outing before welcoming the Fighting Scots to Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Thursday, March 25 for a 6 p.m. match.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's basketball escaped a second stanza slump to take a 72-59 victory over Curry Saturday afternoon at Katz Gymnasium. The triumph marks the Rams fourth in a row and helps the blue-and-gold to its best record through six games at 5-1 since 2003-04.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk women's basketball heads into the weekend with its best start in 18 years at 5-1. 

Jenni-Rose DiCecco has proven to be a crucial piece to the puzzle as the floor general leads the Rams in points (13.0), rebounds (8.7), assists (6.0) and steals (2.7) per game. Natalie Fraioli chips in 11.7 points and 5.7 boards per outing with Gabriella DeComo adding 10.2 points to Suffolk's 70.3 offensive output.

RECORD WATCH
Last weekend, Jenni-Rose DiCecco sealed her spot as the Rams' all-time leader in assists and steals. She rewrote the handouts record, which was held by Amber Conte for the past 19 years, and claimed the steal mark, which Lauren Burns had since 2007, in a 71-42 victory over Curry March 12.

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon holds a 5-3 record on the year and enters the mid-week action off a 75-53 triumph over Nichols. 

The Fighting Scots put in 67.0 ppg, outscoring their foes, 7.7. Individually, four players produce double figures led by Caroline Sikkink's 17.5 ppg effort. Abby Vampatella (14.5 ppg), Madison Wynbeck (12.8 ppg) and Serianna Anderson (10.1 ppg) are consistent scorers as well.

Caleigh Williams' 7.9 rpg leads Gordon's 43.3 rpg effort. Vampatella and Sikkink chip in 7.6 rpg and 7.0 rpg, respectively.
