RAMS at CNEs

  • Matyas Csiki-Fejer cruised to an individual title in 2021 in the men's 8k. He is the only runner in blue-and-gold to claim individual medalist honors at the CCC Championship.
  • Eight male runners have claimed All-CNE all-time including Hayden GreenThomas NovyLuke Sikora and Tim Barry a year ago.
  • The most men to capture All-CNE recognition, a spot in the top-15, was four in 2023.
  • Novy and Green secured their secured all-conference nods for the second time in their careers last year. With their second All-CNE distinctions they are the first Rams to have multiple all-conference awards on their resumes.

CNE CHAMPIONSHIPS at WESTERN NEW ENGLAND

  • Suffolk will race for the CNE Championships at Western New England for the second time, first since 2021.
  • The Rams registered 55 points as a team when racing at the CNE Championships at WNE.
  • Suffolk's first-and only individual conference champion, Matyas Csiki-Fejer, was crowned on the course at WNE in 2021 with a time of 25:00.

ALL-CNE

  • Student-athletes that finish in the top 15 will capture all-conference recognition.

COACH'S QUOTE

"This weekend is going to be a nail biter again between Suffolk and Roger Williams," head coach Will Feldman. "Both squads have established themselves as the two top programs in the conference again this season. Both teams are virtual mirror images of each other, and it's going to come down to who's tougher over the final mile."

I'm looking for top 5 finishes from both Tim and Thomas. Cameron F had a big PR and break out performance at Conn College, and I'm going to be leaning on him to step up as our number 3 runner. Juniors Sean J, and Hayden G should round out the scoring. The fortunes of the team will most likely come down to how well our 4th and 5th runners perform.

SUFFOLK'S SCOUT

  • The Rams need top five finishes from Tim Barry and Thomas Novy
  • Cam Fredette, who logged a huge personal best and break out performance at Connecticut College, will be leaned on to by the third Suffolk student-athlete through the finisher's chute.
  • Juniors Sean Jacobsen and Hayden Green should round out the Rams scoring.
