BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer turns its attention to the remainder of its Conference of New England regular-season schedule with Western New England up next for the Rams. The Golden Bears are scheduled to stop by James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Wednesday, Oct. 16 for a 7:00 p.m. clash.

Suffolk men's soccer may have got on the board against the Eagles for the first time in program history, but it would not be enough to take down NCAA Division I Boston College as the Rams fell in the Beantown battle, 5-1, Monday night at the Newton Soccer Complex.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk slipped in a Beantown Battle to NCAA Division I foe Boston College Monday night to dip to 6-5-3 on the year. In CNE contests the Rams remain unbeaten though at 3-0-1.  

Francisco Valck is responsible for a fourth of the Rams' 24 goals as the sophomore has scored a team-best six to lead the way in scoring and points (12). Luke Blawn and Damon Smargon have both found the back of the net three times with the latter adding two helpers to sit second on the squad in points (8). Smargon is one of five players to set-up two strikes along with Matthew Belluardo (2a), Tommy Handelsman (1g, 2a), Diego Pierantozzi (2g, 2a) and Dominic Rinaldi (1g, 2a). 

Nathan Harlow has played ever CNE contest in net for the blue-and-gold. The keeper has assembled a 1.00 GAA and .776 save percentage in 11 games played, 10 starts. He is 5-3-3 on the year with four shutouts to his credit. 

GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England is unbeaten in its last five games to move to 6-6-3 on the season and 2-1-1 in CNE action. That stretch features a four-game win streak with victories over Coast Guard (1-0), University of New England (2-0), Trinity (2-1) and Wentworth (2-1).  

Tyler Lewis paces the Golden Bears scoring with five goals and one assist for a team-best 11 points. Keegan Reim is on the verge of double-digits in points as well behind four markers and one step-up. Roger Leland rounds out the top three scoring threats for WNE with three goals to his credit. 

Braylon Casinghino has played every game and every minute in net for Western New England. He brings in a 1.33 GAA and .753 save percentage with two shutouts, six victories and three draws.
