
WENHAM, Mass. – Suffolk men's soccer's Conference of New England (CNE) opener featured steady rain conditions and the Rams played Gordon to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was an even match from early on as the score read 0-0 at halftime.
In the 66th minute, Moises Montano sent in a cross from the left side and found Gilbert Daru, who laced a shot past Suffolk keeper Nathan Harlow to put the host ahead, 1-0.
A minute later, the Rams were awarded a penalty kick, but Gordon's goalie Isaiah Diaz made an incredible diving save to keep the visitors off the scoreboard.
Suffolk did not go down without a fight, however, and it managed to even things up at 1-1 in the 73rd minute thanks to an unassisted tally from Jack Phelps.
The score remained still the rest of the way, resulting in the stalemate.
