BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer opens a four-game road trip Tuesday, Sept. 10 when it ventures to Framingham State for a 4:00 p.m. kick-off.

Suffolk men's soccer fell behind early and never pulled all the way back as Husson handed the Rams a 2-1 loss Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (1-2-1) is winless since opening the year with a 4-1 victory over Emmanuel. After besting the Saints, the Rams tied Brandeis, 0-0 and fell to No. 2 Amherst, 4-0 and Husson, 2-1. 

Francisco Valck is responsible for 60 percent of Suffolk's scoring with three of the Rams goals on the sophomore's stat line. Damon Smargon and Miguel Varela have found the back of the net once each. Jeremy Cooke, Diego Pierantozzi, Dominic Rinaldi and Dylan Trachtenberg have one assist each.  

The blue-and-gold has used two different keepers; Nathan Harlow and Mateu Farre-Torres. Harlow has seen the most time and has assembled a 1-1-1 record in three appearances, all starts. The sophomore boasts a 1.67 GAA and .688 save percentage. Farre-Torres, meanwhile, holds a 2.00 GAA and .714 save percentage after his sole appearance, a complete-game versus Husson.

FRAMINGHAM RAMS REVIEW
Framingham State holds a 0-1-2 record through three games. The Rams played to 3-3 stalemates at UMass Dartmouth and against Clark and fell at Trinity, 2-1.  

Joao De Aquino is the biggest offensive threat for FSU with five goals. Bryce Borletto-McCray and Michael Jokic have scored one apiece to round out Framingham's goal scorers. Gustav Hemmingsen has set-up two strikes, while Jose Figueroa and Kaio Santos Da Silva have one assist each.  

Timothy Singleton has played every minute in net for the Rams. He brings in a 2.67 GAA and .733 save percentage. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk moved to 5-7-1 (since 2002) all-time against Framingham State after falling to the Rams 2-1 a year ago, Sept. 12, 2023.
• Suffolk aims for its first win over FSU since a 2-1 decision Sept. 15, 2021. 
• The blue-and-gold is 4-4-0 when playing Framingham State in Boston.
