
EAST BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer reentered the win column in convincing fashion as it cruised past Curry, 5-1, Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. Seven Rams provided a point in the Commonwealth Coast Conference victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Thanks to Brady Sorensen's first goal of the day 13:18 into the contest the Rams took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Out of the locker room, the Rams poured in four unanswered goals to build a comfortable five-goal cushion. Matthew Belluardo used a set-up from Tommy Handelsman to double the distance at the 57:35 mark.
From there, the blue-and-gold poured in three goals over a seven-minute span as Matteo Simonini, Sorensen and Taj Jensen all found the back of the net.
With 1:36 left on the clock, Angelo Santostefano eliminated the shutout as he put away a feed from McCann for the 5-1 final.

- Xander Balog registered four saves in the victory.
