BOSTON – The Suffolk men's golf team will take the course once more in 2016 as the Rams via for the NEIGA Championship over the weekend at Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's golf team shot a collective 646 to claim eighth at the 2016 GNAC Men's Golf Championship Oct. 14-15 at the Gorham Country Club hosted by Southern Maine.

ABOUT THE NEIGA
The New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) is a non-profit organization, which was first organize in 1934 at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, Massachusetts. NEIGA is believed to be the largest gathering of collective players from all levels of NCAA competing at the same location on a 36-hole layout. There are currently 46 New England colleges and universities as members of the NEIGA.

THE COURSE
Two championship golf courses at one location lie in the Captains Golf Course. Together, the par-72 Port Course and the par-72 Starboard Course deliver 36 holes. 

A YEAR AGO
Teams from 37 colleges and universities across New England and New York gathered at The Captains Course in Brewster, Massachusetts Oct. 27-28 for the 81st Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Championship. One hundred and eight-four golfers across Divisions I, II and III and Club teams competed and Suffolk placed 19th among the 22 Division III bracket.
