WATERFORD, Conn. – Suffolk women's cross country took 20th at the Connecticut College Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Rams captured 20th in the field of 37 with a team score of 623. No. 1 MIT won the event with 83 points. Suffolk was the best Conference of New England squad on the 6k course as it finished ahead of Gordon (24th) and Roger Williams (27th).
RAMS RUNNERS
- Amalia Dorion came through the finisher's chute in 22:40.7 to capture 75th in the field of 277.
- Amy Pattelena crossed the tape in 22:54.4 to secure 92nd.
- Sofia Moukaddem took 137th with a 23:26.0
- Sydney Fogg was 143rd with a 23:34.1.
- Emily Concepcion (24:51.1), Shannon Groom (25:16.3), Megan Dunn (25:30.0) and Bailey Ford (25:54.0) ran the 6k race as well.
NOTEWORTHY
- Dorion was the best CNE runner on the course.
RAMS RECORDS
- Ford finished with a personal-best time of 25:54.0.

The Rams will defend their CNE title Saturday, Nov. 2 at the CNE Championship in at Western New England Springfield, Massachusetts.
