WENHAM, Mass. – Suffolk volleyball captured a crucial Conference of New England contest with a five-set thrilling triumph over Gordon Saturday at the Bennett Athletic Center. The Rams win came by set scores 25-11, 10-25, 25-22, 15-22 and 15-13.

SET ONE RECAP (25-22, SUFFOLK)
- The playing field was even from the get-goal with four lead exchanges and six tied scores.
- From 12-12, Suffolk scored five straight to ignite a 9-2 stretch that gave the blue-and-gold a 21-14 advantage.

- A late surge by Gordon allowed the Fighting Scots to take a 15-13 lead and turn it into a 25-15 set decision that forced a fifth frame.

- Gordon scored the first six points of the set.
- Down 10-4, Suffolk scored six straight o knot things at 10-all.
- A Grace Cervenka kill followed by a block by Shore and Chloe Clement gave the Rams a 12-11 edge.

- Keowen had a 13-kill, 15-dig double-double with two aces and two assists.
