
BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball pushed its win streak to five as it swept Nichols in Conference of New England action Wednesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The league victory came by set scores 25-21, 25-16 and 25-15.

- Out of an 8-all tie, Suffolk sprung ahead 13-8.
- That cushion turned into a 19-12 advantage.
- After see-saw action that made it 21-15 Rams, the blue-and-gold put away the final four points of the set to take the match, 25-15.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Sami Shore and McKenna Keowen paced Suffolk's attack as the sophomore and senior combined for 22 of the Rams' 39 kills.
- Shore finished the night with a match-best 12 kills on a .500 attack percentage to go along with four blocks.
- Keowen, meanwhile, put together a 10-kill, nine-dig, one-assist stat line.
- Chloe Clement contributed five kills, two digs and two blocks.
- Isabelle Huzar had five kills of her won with one block and one dig to her credit as well.
- Jayla Martinez added 18 assists and five digs.
- Aislinn Lanigan pitched in 12 helpers and three digs.
- Morgan Kelsey provided 13 digs, one assist and one ace.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk has won three matches in a row versus Nichols.
- Suffolk moved to 3-1 all-time against Nichols.
- The Rams are unbeaten, 2-0, when they host the Bison in Boston.
- The blue-and-gold swept the Bison for the second time, first since Oct. 29, 2022.
- There are only two sweeps in the all-time series between Suffolk and Nichols. The blue-and-gold has won both 3-0 decisions versus the Bison.
- Every battle between the blue-and-gold and Bison has come in the Scott Blanchard era.
