BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball remains on the road Thursday, Oct. 3 when it makes the trip to Johnson & Wales for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference contest.

Suffolk volleyball may have taken a 2-1 lead over the Hawks, but the Rams lost momentum as Roger Williams rattled off the next two set wins to hand the Rams a 3-2 Conference of New England (CNE) loss Tuesday night at the Paolino Recreation Center. The league setback came by set scores 29-31, 25-21, 17-25, 25-20 and 15-9.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk moved to 14-4 on the year after falling to Roger Williams in five sets Tuesday night. Three of the Rams' four losses came in five set decisions.
McKenna Keowen provides 3.22 kills per set (kps) and 0.75 aces per set to Suffolk's offense that is set up by Jayla Martinez (6.09 assists per set) and Aislinn Lanigan (3.74 assists per set). Sami Shore is a threat offensively as well with 2.33 kps and Chloe Clement contributes 2.04 kps.
Defensively, Morgan Kelsey leads the way with 4.46 dps. Keowen adds 3.46 dps and Shore paces the pack at the net with 0.78 blocks per set (bps).

Johnson & Wales reentered the win column Saturday as it defeated SUNY Canton, 3-1, to move to 7-8 on the year.
Peyton Oliver tops the Wildcats' attack with 3.31 kps that receives 1.61 kps from Nevaeh Arnold and 1.58 kps by Skylar Winchester. Three players share the setter role in Sophia Diphilippo (3.93 assists per set), Olivia Immel (3.12 assists per set) and Nevaeh Arnold (2.25 assists per set).
Sierra Nausieda anchors the defensive unit with 3.52 dps. Bailey Koopman supplies 0.86 bps.
