LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball swept Fitchburg State to wrap up its tri-match at Parkinson Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Rams second straight victory came by set scores 25-15, 25-19 and 25-8.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk swept its tri-match in Fitchburg, Massachusetts with straight set victories over Bay Path and Fitchburg State to hold a 14-3 overall record. The Rams dropped a five-set thriller to Hartford in their CNE opener last Wednesday to sit 0-1 in league action.  

McKenna Keowen is an offensive force for the blue-and-gold as the senior supplies 3.15 kills per set (kps) and 0.79 aces per set, both top the team in each category. Sami Shore adds 2.40 kps on a .441 attack percentage, the best in NCAA Division III going into this week's play. Chloe Clement also pitches in over 2.00 kps with 2.04 kps to her credit. Jayla Martinez and Aislinn Lanigan set up the attack with 6.23 assists per set and 3.77 assists per set, respectively.  

Defensively, Morgan Kelsey's 4.48 digs per set (dps) leads the way. Keowen pitches in 3.35 dps and Shore leads the way at the net with 0.82 blocks per set.

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams fell to Endicott, 3-1, after it swept Curry, to move to .500 (8-8) on the season and in CNE (1-1) play.  

Angela West is an offensive and defensive threat with 2.41 kps and 0.98 bps, both of which lead the team. Brianna Picchietti pitches in 2.29 kps to the attack that is set up by Ava Mattiucci (5.70 assists per set) and Emma Bosco (3.11 assists per set). Mattiucci has proven to be a danger to the service line wth 0.59 aces per set.  

Marianna Hernandez is the backbone of the defense with 4.84 dps and Kaylee Jackson adds 2.36 dps. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Suffolk, Roger Williams series started in 1998. 
• The Rams took down the Hawks for the first time in the all-time series with a sweep last season, Oct. 18, 2022. 
• Last year, Suffolk swept RWU for its second straight victory over the Hawks and second win all-time. 
• Eight matches have been played in Boston (1-7), seven in Bristol, Rhode Island (1-6) and five at neutral sites (0-5). 
• A dozen (12) matches have been decided in straight sets, five in Boston, and five with the Rams as the true away team and two at neutral hardwood. 
• Six outings were four set decisions. Two came away and at a neutral site, respectively, with a pair of 3-1 contests in Beantown as well as including the last meeting, Sept. 23, 2021. 
• Just two battles went the distance. One was played at RWU and the other was at a neutral site.
