BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball rides a six-match win streak into its Conference of New England (CNE) opener Wednesday, Sept. 25 versus Hartford. The Hawks stop by the Rams' home, Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 7:00 p.m. first serve.

Suffolk volleyball ran its win streak to six when it bested Worcester State, 3-0, Saturday afternoon to wrap up a tri-match at John P. Brissette'88 Court. The sweep came by set scores 25-19, 25-15 and 25-19.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk matched a season-best win streak of six Saturday as it swept its tri-match at Worcester State with straight set victories over Mount Holyoke and the host Lancers.
McKenna Keowen is an all-around performer for the Rams with 3.08 kills per set (kps) and 3.18 digs per set (3.18). The senior outside hitter also tops the team in aces per set with 0.63. Sami Shore is a two-way player as well with 2.31 kps, good for second on the squad, and a team-best 0.86 blocks per set (bps). Jayla Martinez and Aislinn Lanigan share time as the blue-and-gold's setter with 6.10 assists per set and 3.65 assists per set, respectively. Morgan Kelsey's 4.22 dps anchors the defense.
SUFFOLK IN CNE OPENERS
- Suffolk is 1-2 in its first CNE contest of the year.
- The Rams won their first CNE opener a year ago with a five-set thriller at Nichols.
- Suffolk will open its CNE schedule at home for the second time, first since 2021.
- The Rams are 0-1 at home in its CNE debut.
- Suffolk has competed against Roger Williams (L, 3-1), Gordon (L, 3-1) and Nichols (W, 3-2) in the first CNE match of the season.

Hartford boasts a 5-5 overall record. The Hawks are coming off back-to-back wins at Mass. Maritime over the weekend.
Jordan Murphy leads the way offensively and defensively for Hartford with team-leading numbers in kps (4.74), aces per set (0.59) and dps (2.68). TiffanY Mendez, meanwhile, is second on the squad in kps (3.12) and dps (2.59). Kylee Connally (4.74 aps) and Liahnna Orange (4.00 aps) share the Hawks' setter role. Jenna Murphy is a threat at the net with 0.76 bps.

The Rams take a break from CNE contests this weekend when they travel to Fitchburg, Massachusetts for a tri-match at Fitchburg State with Bay Path. Suffolk will face the Wildcats at 1 p.m., before facing the Falcons at 3:00 p.m.
