WILLIAMNATIC, Conn. – Suffolk volleyball opened action at Geissler Gymnasium Saturday afternoon with a straight set setback to Plymouth State. The Panthers handled the Rams in the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-10, with the blue-and-gold's hard fight in the third falling just short, 25-22.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- McKenna Keowen and Grace Cervenka each provided six kills to lead the Rams' 23-kill attack. The former added nine digs to the defense, while the latter had a pair of blocks.
- Sami Shore supplied five kills behind a .364 attack percentage.
- Aislinn Lanigan and Jayla Martinez set-up the attack with nine assists and eight assists, respectively. Lanigan added five digs and one ace as well.
- Morgan Kelsey pitched in nine digs, two aces and two helpers.
