BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball has a full day of action in store Saturday, Sept. 30 as it heads to Danbury, Connecticut for a tri-match at WestConn featuring Vermont State Castleton. The Rams begin the day at 1 p.m. against the Spartans before facing the Wolves at 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball handed Framingham State just its third loss of the year and halted a 10-game win streak for the host as the blue-and-gold bested FSU in straight set fashion Thursday night at the Athletic Center on the campus of FSU. The sweep came via set scores 25-10, 25-16 and 25-21.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has coupled a pair of sweeps together to carry a 9-6 record into Saturday.
McKenna Keowen, who is 13 kills away from tying the Rams' all-time leading record held by currant assistant coach Hannah Fabiano, leads the attack with 2.56 kps. Jessica Weber joins Keowen with over 2.00 kps with 2.25 kps to her credit. Jayla Martinez and Aislinn Lanigan share the setter role with 4.76 assists per set and 3.49 assists per set, respectively.
Morgan Kelsey, who pitches in 0.73 aces per set to the offense, anchors the defensive unit with 4.08 dps. Keowen adds 3.02 dps. Tatum Kalt is a consistent defensive contributor as well with 2.57 dps and Sami Shore paces the pack at the net with 0.75 bps.
SPARTANS SAYINGS
Vermont State Castleton has fallen three in a row to dip to 4-5 on the year.
Jocelyn Ray and Hailey Martinovich lead the Spartans scoring thanks to 2.91 kps and 2.84 kps, respectively. The pair also contributes from the service line. Martinovich leads the team with 0.63 aces per set and Ray is right on her heels with 0.47 aces per set. Maddie Deisignore sets up the attack with 6.22 assists per set.
Martinovich tops the team defensively as well with 2.84 dps. Deisignore contributes 2.69 dps and Ray chips in 0.50 bps.

WOLVES WAYS
WestConn has put together a five-match win streak to sit 8-4 on the season.
Julia Stoliker's 3.40 kps powers the Wolves offense that receives 2.45 kps from Taylor Rohan, 2.11 kps by Helen Megson and is set upby Olivia Monteleone (8.95 assists per set).
Sydney Slupatchuk's 4.26 dps paces the defense. Monteleone (2.43 dps) and Stoliker (2.40 dps) add depth to the defense that sees Taylor Rohan rack up 0.79 bps.
