BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball takes a break from conference competition Tuesday, Oct. 23 when the Rams welcome Southern Maine to Regan Gymnasium. Prior to the 7 p.m. first serve, Suffolk will honor its seven members of the Class of 2019: Bridget Allison, Heidy Barriero, Emma Feeney, Talia Lombardo, Dorothy Mensah, Chidera Nwankwo and Leah Pedersen.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk volleyball team captured its sixth-straight GNAC contest behind a thrilling 3-2 triumph over Norwich at Andrews Hall Saturday afternoon. The victory came behind set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 24-26 and 16-14.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Thanks to its sixth consecutive conference victory Suffolk improved to 10-13 on the season and take a three-match win streak into Tuesday's tilt. The Rams have now captured double-digit victories for the third straight season and ninth time since 2003.
Sophomores Hannah Fabiano (2.23 kps) and Kayla Barbera (2.11 kps) lead the way offensively with Chidera Nwankwo (1.97 kps) and Bridget Allison (1.72 kps) adding to the offensive spark. Talia Lombardo handles the setting responsibilities with 7.86 assists per set with the senior pacing the pack at the service line as well with 0.74 aces per set.
Dakhensey Marcellus anchors the defense with 4.49 dps to her credit. Barbera and Emma Feeney pitch in on the reception with 2.54 dps and 2.31 dps, respectively. Allison stands tall at the net (0.61 bps).
HAVE TO KNOW BOUT THE HUSKIES
Despite falling in back-to-back matches Saturday, Southern Maine heads to Boston Tuesday with a 14-11 overall record.
Kacey Foerster (2.88 kps) and Marina Eneeva (2.00 kps) each produced over 2.00 kps for the Huskies' 10.80 kps attack, which is primarily set up by Nicole Schmitz's 6.41 assists per set.
Lauren Delissio (3.13 dps), Rachel Chillie (2.88 dps) and Jenna Graves (2.33 dps) lead the way defensively with Alexis Dow (0.78 bps) and Kylee Austin (0.68 bps) adding to the effort at the net.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk and USM renew a rivalry which began in 2004 and meet for the first time since 2010.
- The Huskies own both victories in the all-time meetings with one straight set win, which came in the inaugural meeting in 2004, and a four-set decision in the last meeting in 2010.
