BOSTON – Thanks to its sweep of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in its regular season finale Saturday afternoon, the Suffolk volleyball team clinched the eighth seed for the upcoming GNAC tournament. 

The Rams, who went 4-7 against conference competition and 11-15 overall, will travel to regular season champion, top-seeded and undefeated Johnson & Wales Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. Suffolk and the Wildcats met earlier this season back on Sept. 13, with JWU blanking Suffolk. 

Suffolk will make its 11th trip to the conference tournament and first since 2013. 

Since besting the Rams on Sept. 13, JWU has continued its historic season sweeping 21 of its 22 opponents to finish the season 30-0 overall and 11-0 in league action.
