BOSTON – The Suffolk women's volleyball team will play back-to-back midweek matches as the Rams visit Becker Tuesday, Sept. 27 and entertain Mt. Ida at Regan Gymnasium the following night. Both contests have 7 p.m. starts.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk splits its tri-match at Curry, losing a 3-1 battle to the hosts Colonels, and sweeping the Gators of Pine Manor to move to 5-6 on the season. 

Talia Lombardo and Bridget Allison continue to be the offensive forces for the Rams while Liz Kerek and Rachel Fancy have been the dynamic duo of Suffolk setters. Since returning from injury, Jessica Rexrode has made her presence known defensively with Emma Feeney contributing to the effort. 

HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE HAWKS
Becker swept its home tri-match versus Mass. Maritime and Lyndon State with both victories coming in straight sets to level its record at 7-7 overall. 

The Hawks boast a balanced attack led by Cheyenne Melanson (1.97 kps), Marissa Turner (1.81 kps) and Kayla Dupree (1.65 kps). Charlene Landry and Morgan Gould have split time as Becker's setter, dishing out 3.07 aps and 2.40 aps, respectively. Britteny Bullis is the go to defender for Becker with 4.10 dps as Turner leads the charge at the net with 0.55 bps. 

EYES ON THE MATCH

MUSTANGS MENTIONABLES
Mount Ida was swept in its latest tri-match, dropping straight set matches to Emmanuel and Newbury, to move to 6-7 overall and 0-1 against conference competition.

Mary Kate Reidy's 3.19 kps leads the Mustangs and is sixth in the GNAC and the junior outside hitter also leads Mt. Ida defensively with 3.42 dps. Molly Alkinburg (2.59 kps) and Kristy Walton (1.74 kps) add to the offense. Alexis Bell handles the setting duties with 7.68 aps. Eleni Tsetsos and Alysha Dunbar contribute to the Mustang's defense with 2.57 dps and 2.55 dps, respectively.
