BOSTON – The Suffolk women's volleyball team looks to snap a two-match skid Thursday, Sept. 15 as the Rams continue their homestand when they welcome their Boston Commons' neighbor Emerson to Regan Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. match.

Johnson & Wales spoiled the Suffolk women's volleyball team's home and GNAC opener Sept. 13 as the Wildcats swept the Rams inside Regan Gymnasium.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
After rattling off three victories to open the season, Suffolk has dropped back-to-back straight set matches to move to 3-2 on the year. 

Talia Lombardo and Bridget Allison have been the Rams' go to offensively with the sophomores registering 1.44 kps and 1.38 kps, respectively. The duo is contributing all over the court for the Rams with the latter leading in digs (2.63 dps) and the former right behind her (2.19 dps).  Liz Kerek has set up the offense with 3.69 aps. 

LOWDOWN ON THE LIONS
Emerson is 7-3 on the year. In the Lions latest outing, they lost 3-1 to Wellesley Tuesday. Emerson is led on offense by Fara Cohen, who has averaged 2.60 kps, and Bella Edwards, who sports a 2.17 kps average. Moira Brennan has handled the setting duties, averaging 8.62 aps. On the defensive side of the net, Edwards' 3.26 dps leads the way, while Annie Hall contributes 0.73 bps. 

EYES ON THE MATCH

UP NEXT
Suffolk hosts its first tri-match of the season when Daniel Webster and Pine Manor come to Regan Gymnasium Saturday, Sept. 17. The Rams will take on the Eagles at 11 a.m., followed by a 3 p.m. contest versus the Gators.
