BOSTON – A mid-week GNAC match-up is on the schedule for the Suffolk volleyball team Wednesday night as the Rams meet the Mustangs at Mount Ida at 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk volleyball team dropped a pair of straight set matches to Coast Guard and Lasell Saturday afternoon at the Laser's Athletic Center.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk faced stiff competition this weekend in Coast Guard and Lasell and fell in straight sets to move to 5-18 overall and 1-6 in the GNAC.
Chidera Nwankwo's 1.75 kps lead the way for the Rams with Bridget Allison and Talia Lombardo chipping in 1.71 kps and 1.56 kps, respectively. Liz Kerek has taken the setter responsibility on with 4.07 aps.
Defensively, Lombardo has been the force with 3.10 dps with Emma Feeney (2.90 dps) and Nwankwo (0.41 bps) adding to the effort.
MENTIONABLES ON THE MUSTANGS
Mount Ida has traded wins and losses in its past six matches to sit at 10-13 overall and 2-4 in the GNAC.
Mary Kate Reidy's 3.10 kps leads the Mustangs and is fourth in the GNAC. Kristy Walton (1.93 kps), Molly Alkinburg (1.41 kps) and Alysha Dunbar (1.35 kps) add to the offense. Taylor Davis handles the setting duties with 5.74 aps.
Kelcey Koolman paces the Mustangs defensively with the third-highest digs per set in the conference, 4.13.

SERVING UP ACES
Suffolk scored 19 aces in a straight set victory over Massachusetts Maritime, marking the most aces for a Rams' squad since 2011. Freshman Talia Lombardo tallied eight aces in the victory, the most for a Ram since Melissa Griffin '12 served that number in a 3-1 victory over Eastern Nazarene September 22, 2011.

Suffolk caps off its home schedule Saturday for #RamNationWhiteOut when it entertains Emmanuel and Albertus Magnus in a GNAC Tri-Match. The Rams will first meet the Saints at 11 a.m., before serving against the Falcons at 3 p.m.
