The Suffolk University Volleyball team fell in their season opening tri-match hosted by Emerson College.
Suffolk lost on Friday afternoon to host Emerson, 3-0 before dropping a pair of matches to Fairleigh Dickinson and Salve Regina University.
Freshman Savannah Carpenter (Weston, Conn.) was named to the All-Tournament team as she finished the three game set with a team-high three service aces.
Carpenter had seven kills and a pair of service aces in a 3-1 setback on Saturday morning to Fairleigh Dickinson.
Junior Tori Brillaud (North Andover, Mass.) finished the three game set with a team-high 27 kills while senior Hailey Atkinson (Branford, Conn.). Brillaud was also strong on the defensive side of the court as she posted a team-high 27 digs.
Suffolk will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Newbury College for another tri-match opening up on Friday afternoon.
