USATF New England Championships Ahead for Indoor Track & Field

BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field gets its postseason, award-season underway this Sunday, Feb. 23 at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championships at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track.

RAMS RUNDOWN [ MEN ] 

  • Tim Barry will be racing the mile for the first time since a hamstring injury. He heads into the weekend 25th in the country and needs to shave off some time to secure a spot at nationals. 
  • Hayden Green will make one last attempt to qualify for regionals in the 5k. 
  • In the 400, Joshua Durand, and Nathan Fernandes will continue their friendly rivalry to determine who has the fastest 400 in blue-and-gold this season. 
  • Michael Nossek, who currently sits ninth in NCAA Division III in the 60, will aim to improve both his 60 and 200 times this Sunday. 
  • Tighe Hosman will hurdle and triple jump. 
  • Clinton Oreofe will be long jumping. 
  • Joshua Catino will attempt to break the school pole vault record and Michael Makiej will look to break his own school record in the high jump. 
  • Connor Brown will throw shot put and Elijah Brown will compete in the weight throw.
