Indoor Track & Field to Host Suffolk Relays Saturday

BOSTON – Suffolk indoor track & field returns to the Track at New Balance Saturday, Jan. 11 for the third annual Suffolk Relays. Field events are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. with action on the track scheduled for 10 a.m.

THE FIELD
The third Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational is the largest event that the Rams have hosted to date with nearly 1,800 athletes registered to compete. The field features teams from every NCAA Division.

Suffolk men's indoor track & field closed out its fall semester schedule at the Beacon Invitational Sunday at the Track at New Balance Invitational.

Suffolk women's indoor track & field wrapped up first semester action at the Beacon Invitational Sunday at the Track at New Balance.

RAMS RECRUIT

  • Suffolk's men and women will be looking to break the school records in the Spring Medley Relay. 
  • Devyn Battistoni and Kara Sickle aim to qualify for Division III New Englands in the pole vault. 
  • Bailee Mallett and Gracie O'Connell should have good days in the weight throw. 
  • Amalia Dorion will attempt to qualify in the women's mile. 
  • Freshman Tighe Hosman and Nico Carrillo will be battling for bragging rights in the 60 hurdles. 
  • Elijah Brown will be competing in the weight throw looking to get closer to qualifying for regionals. 
  • Joshua Durand will aim to break the Rams record in the 400. 

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams will head across town to Tufts next Saturday, Jan. 20 for the Branwen Smith-King Invitational.
