BOSTON – Four Rams of the Suffolk women's indoor track & field team head to Middlebury, Vermont this weekend for the 2020 NCAA New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at Middlebury.

LAST TIME OUT
A small contingent of Suffolk indoor track & field student athletes participated at the USATF New England Indoor Championships at Harvard University's Gordon Indoor Track over the weekend.

RAMS AT REGIONALS

  • Suffolk will make its third trip to New Englands this weekend.
  • A year ago, the Rams put together their first-ever team finish at regionals.
  • Suffolk will be represented by the same foursome from last year in Mariama Kamara (60M Dash), Emily Manfra (mile), Allison Rodrigues (shot put) and Emma Weisse (5K).
  • Manfra and Weisse both will compete at their third regionals, while Mariama and Rodrigues head to their second straight.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE

Friday, Feb. 28
6:00 PM – 5K – Emma Weisse 

Saturday, Feb. 29
11:30 AM – 60 M Dash Trials – Kamara Mariama
12:00 PM – Mile – Emily Manfra
12:55 PM – 60 M Dash Finals
1:00 PM – Shot Put – Allison Rodrigues 

REGIONAL RECOGNITION
Emily Manfra is the only Suffolk student-athlete to garner All-New England accolades. She looks to make more history and garner back-to-back all-region nods.

There is one more meet before nationals in the Last Chance Qualifier at Tufts Saturday, March. 7.
