RECORDS: Suffolk (0-2, 0-1 GNAC) | Colby Sawyer (1-2, 1-0 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Chargers took both double matches and a default by the Rams on the third court gave the visitors a three-point cushion as the match transitioned into singles play.
Alyssa Blade put the Rams on the board with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Margaret Fox from the fifth spot.
Suffolk could not make up any more ground, however, as Colby Sawyer captured victories on courts one through four and a Rams' default in the sixth slot sealed the Chargers, 8-1 wining fate.
