BOSTON – The Suffolk women's team looks to break into the win column Thursday, Sept. 6 when it entertains Wentworth in a non-conference clash at North Reading High School. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's' team pulled back the curtain on its 2018 campaign Tuesday afternoon, but acme out on the wrong side of a 7-2 decision as the Rams fell to Rhode Island College at North Reading High School.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Ilda Ascic had a hand in each of Suffolk's (0-1) points from the first match of the season. The rookie teamed up with senior captain Delaney Dunlap as the Rams' top tandem for the lone doubles point for the Rams. Ascic followed that up with a 6-0, 6-2 singles win in the second slot to account for each of the blue-and-gold's points from the season opener, a 7-2 setback to Rhode Island College.

LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth fell to Worcester State, 8-1, in its season opener Saturday and has used the following four days to prep for Suffolk.

The Leopards only point on the day came from the first doubles court as Ali Sollecito and Ellen Butts partnered up for a 9-7 win.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Since 2012, Suffolk holds a 5-1 record over Wentworth. The Rams have rattled off four wins over the Leopards including a 6-3 triumph last season.
