BOSTON – The Suffolk women's tennis team heads out on the road for the next six matches. The road test will begin at conference counterpart Regis Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m. with the Rams stepping out of league action the following day at Lesley. Thursday's (Sept. 28) match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's tennis team secured its second straight win as the Rams shutout Mount Ida, 9-0, to open GNAC play at North Reading High School Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Thanks to its two-match win streak Suffolk improved to 2-3 on the season and 1-0 against league foes. The winning ways came in the form of a 7-2 victory over Wentworth and a 9-0 cleansheet against Mt. Ida.
Delaney Dunlap has played excuslively as the Rams' ace in singles action. The junior matches the team's record on the top court, sitting at 2-3. Elena Cisneros Garcia (2-3), Keely Hardy (2-3) and Danlyn Medou (2-2) also have two singles victories, while newcomer Ahilya Malhoutra is an unbeaten 1-0 in singles action, playing in the fifth position.
In doubles, the team of Dunlap and Hardy hold an undefeated 2-0 record in the second spot to pace Suffolk.
PRIDE PROWL
Similar to Suffolk, Regis has rides a two-match win streak into Wednesday afternoon. The Pride, who is 2-1 overall and 1-0 in conference action, defeated Lesley and St. Joseph (Conn.) by identical 7-2 decisions to prep for the midweek meeting with the Rams.
Carlyn Scanlon has yet to drop a singles match this year, bringing in a 3-0 ledger dividing time on courts three (2-0) and four (1-0), respectively. Four other student-athletes are 2-1 in singles play including the Pride's ace, Carly Donovan.
Donovan and Scanlon team up in doubles action for Regis' top tandem. The duo is 3-0 exclusively in the second slot, while Katasha Jarvias and Ariana McCormack are 2-1 when playing together on court one for the Pride.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- The Suffolk, Regis series dates back to the 1997 season.
- The Rams trail the all-time meetings with the Pride, 7-6.
- Since 2005, Suffolk is 4-1 against Regis.
- The Pride picked up the last meeting with a 5-4 thriller over the blue-and-gold Sept. 13, 2016.
LYNX LOOK
Lesley, who has had a week to prep for Thursday's tilt with Suffolk, dipped to 2-3 on the season after being swept by Eastern Nazarene Sept. 21.
Caroline Kiddie has been the Lynx most successful racquet with a 2-1 record in singles on the top court. The senior has teamed up with Theresa Pereira in doubles for an identical 2-1 ledger as the team's top tandem.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Suffolk has locked up back-to-back 9-0 cleansheets over Lesley in the past two seasons to take a 2-0 series lead dating back to 2007.
