LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's tennis team picked up its first points of the 2017 slate, but it would not be enough as Bridgewater State defeated the Rams, 7-2, Thursday afternoon at the Winchester Tennis Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
The young Rams gained their first points of the season in the loss to Bridgewater State, but have yet to find the win column this season, sitting at 0-3. 

Delaney Dunlap has played exclusively as the blue-and-gold's ace in singles action. The junior owns one of Suffolk's two victories this season with Danlyn Medou also earning one point for the Rams in the sixth spot versus the Bears.

In doubles, Dunalp teams up with senior co-captain Isabel Rathlev as Suffolk's top tandem.

LEOPARDS LOOKOUT
Similar to Suffolk, Wentworth is struggling to find the win column as it approaches Suffolk with a 0-5 record. 

Freshman Ali Sollecito is the Leopards ace, posting a 4-1 record this season, which is a team best. 

Sam McGibbon, Caitlyn Briggs and Mackenzie Jones each tallied one win apiece. 

In doubles, Ellen Butts and Sollecito team up for Wentworth's top performers who are on the wrong side of the win column (1-4). Briggs and Sam Webb play on the second court and respectively are 1-2 on the season. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
Since 2012, Suffolk holds a 4-1 record over Wentworth. The Leopards lone win came in 2013 with a 7-2 rout of the Rams.

The Rams continue their homestand as they host Mount Ida at North Reading High School Saturday, Sept. 21 at 12 p.m.
