BOSTON – The Suffolk women's tennis team shuts the door on its five-match road stretch Tuesday, Sept. 20 when the Rams open GNAC play at Simmons. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's tennis team dropped a non-league match on Sunday afternoon against crosstown foe Emerson by a 6-3 margin.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Since heading out on the road, Suffolk has dropped four straight matches to sit at 1-5 on the season.

The Rams' top duo of Aidiana Sagyndykova and Valentina Medina continue their strong seasons as both are undefeated in singles play. Medina is 6-0, while Sagyndykova is 5-0 with the duo splitting time as Suffolk's No. 1 and No. 2.

On the doubles courts, Medina has teame dup with three different partners – Isabel Rathlev (2-0), Danlyn Medou (1-1) and Sagyndykova (2-0), to be the prime Ram partner.

SOMETHING 'BOUT THE SHARKS
Simmons (1-4, 1-0 GNAC) snapped a four-match skid Saturday in its GNAC opener at St. Joseph (Conn.), where the Sharks defeated the Blue Jays 7-2. The win extended Simmons' GNAC winning streak to 59 straight matches.

Jessica Schroedl has held down the Sharks' top spot on singles with a 1-4 mark. She teams up with Olivia Lakes for Simmons' top tandem. The pair is 1-3.

WHAT'S NEXT?
After five matches on the road, Suffolk returns home Thursday, Sept. 22 when it entertains Wentworth. Match is set for 6 p.m.
